I Shot a Film Using ONLY The LEICA Q3 (Instant Regret?)

The Leica Q3's video spec sheet is impressive, but does it actually live up to the hype, or should Leica stick to photos? Well, I created a short film using only the Leica Q3 to put it to the test.

Thank you for this video. As a Q user I do not understand why this camera still sucks at video. It would just perfect “do it all” little docu camera. They have SL which is fenomenal shooter. But it looks like video in Q is mission impossible…

Seeing posts about a Rode microphone firmware update for rthe q3 43 .... NONE for Q3 28. Am I improperly making the assumption that the firmware update is for the 43 only, and not for the 28?

I watched this, then slapped it on my old gimle I was first selling on ebay, but it was epic, its a great B-Roll cam, I used it for black and white 2nd cam in interviews too... set up, hit record and boom. its realy epic.

Stuning colors and a very interesting discussion! Thanks for that😇 I'm on the market for a Q3 and I'm waiting for its delivery. It seems to me that you've used the smallrig cage and some filters. May I ask you 2 important (for me at least since I'm far from a pro) a) did you find the cage ergonomic ? I'm hesitating between the cage and the L-Bracket ? It seems that with the cage the use of the thumb support ? the other question I do have is: do you have a UV protection filter on It ? I do have one ND and CPL breakthrough filter 62 mm and was thing to get a converter to 49 mm. have you have had any issue withe filters you're using. Thanks for your patience. I tend to agree with you, Kyle: Static photography is excellent; video...well, I get superior tracking with my Nikon D850 - in fact, it's never failed me. The Q3, whilst aesthetically pleasing is not a Videographer's camera - & it's massively overpriced.

To me the luts makes the image look crushed, digital / over sharpened, a bit like it was shot on an older iPhone... - without luts it looks much more soft and analog...

The m mount version of the summilux and the one on the Q are only similar in the name.
