I own a 750 AT and despite the fact that their website says that training for repair and maintenance is available, I was not given the opportunity to purchase any of their training. SMH. Their website even mentions that they have training near where I live and they still wont give me any training. Their website also mentions that they have online training available and they still wont give me any training. Apparently they will only give you training if you work for a company that specializes in commercial exercise equipment repair. I know that they have courses available online to teach this so why do they treat customers so wrong?

great machine but too expensive for homes. My gym has two of them and there's line up to use it.

@Cybex I will do that. In the time since writing the above comment, it's had 2 replacement incline motors. another control board of some sort, at least one charge board, three batteries (four if you count the one they're replacing today), a power harness, and a handful of miscellaneous parts that our local Cybex distributor has thrown at it in their attempts to fix it. I stand by my original assessment of the R series machine's abysmal reliability; perhaps bypassing the local distributor who, unfortunately, our service contract is with, will finally get things sorted. If so, I will update these comments to reflect that.

I'm a big fan of the Arc Trainer, but the new R series machine is a step backwards. We've had ours just shy of two months, and it has been fully operational for a grand total of 8 days. Just a horrendous piece of crap in terms of reliability. In my experience, the 770AT was far superior in every way. If I had this to do over, I'd find a used low-hour 770 and spring for a short-term service contract and have a better machine for less money. AND a built-in fan, which Cybex inexplicably deleted from the new R series machines.
