Pikey Peak trekking route lies in the mesmerizing Lower Khumbu region of Nepal, Located near the classic Jiri to Everest Base Camp, Pikey Peak Trek is a new trekking route in the Solukhumbu region with an off-the-beaten-path experience. The trekking route starts from Dhap, which is only an 8-10 hours’ drive away from Kathmandu. Without taking a scary flight by twin otter plane.

When you stand on top of Pikey Peak, you cannot agree more with Sir Edmund Hillary. He said that it was the most exceptional viewpoint in Nepal. On a clear day, you can see seven 8000 meters peaks of Nepal.
The difficulty of Pikey Peak Trek is rated as easy to moderate compared to other treks in Nepal. Even though it is essentially an off-beaten trail, the trekking route is somewhat leveled, and there are very few challenging or steep inclines. There is no need for special training, and even beginner trekkers can enjoy the trek equally. The daily trekking hours are also 5-6 hours on average. The 4-5 days trek reaches up to the highest elevation of 4067m.
Since the trail is essentially an off-the-beaten-trail route, the overnight places have basic facilities, not as good as Everest base camp or Annapurna base camp. And there limited tea houses so prior reservations for lodging are necessary.
Pikey peak can be trekked throughout the year. The best seasons are undoubtedly spring (March to May) and fall (September to December).
Trekking along this route is feasible in winter (Mid-December to February) and the rainy season (July to August) with proper winter gear.
However, it is advisable to avoid this journey during the rainy season, as it can get extremely wet in this area.

For more information feel free to contact us we will organize the trek as you want on your date.
Cheers see you in the Himalayas.

The day I went up there, Oct. 2022, just around sunrise, there was almost no wind, the sky completely clear, could see for 100 miles (!), my guide said it was the best he had ever seen. We descended, walked on, but by about 1pm we were walking in thick mist & drizzle. Sooo lucky.
