Influenzata da veterane del pop al femminile come Carole King, Sarah McLachlan e Joni Mitchell e pure da James Taylor, Brooke suona la chitarra acustica e ha una voce cristallina (nonostante non abbia mai preso lezioni di canto). Brooke is a real popstar in Australia and New Zealand. She fell in love with the confessional lyrics and timeless melodies of James Taylor, Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Paula Cole, and eventually began to play the guitar. In 2002, when she was 18, Fraser signed with Sony Music and moved to Auckland where she played regularly at local venues while she wrote the songs that would appear on her debut album, What To Do With Daylight. That album, released in New Zealand in 2003, debuted at No. 1 and achieved gold status the same week.

lei è la prova che si può essere belle anche con qualche difetto, anzi quello può diventare un segno particolare che ti rende diversa e unica! e poi sono così felice che lei mostri il suo naso con tanta disinvoltura, perchè un'altra avrebbe detto al cameraman di non inquadrarla di profilo o cose varie, invece lei dimostra di essere fiera di se stessa e di come la natura l'ha creata e credo che tutti dovremmo prendere esempio, non lamentarci sempre di ogni piccolo difetto!
