How to set up a Remote Control Extender

Here is how you setup your IR to RF remote control super extender. We use the example of how it works with a My Sky box, but you can use this product in conjunction with any source that receives a infrared signal.

You can use your camera to expose the IR receiver just turn on the camera of your phone aim at the receiving device and press any random button on your remote control you'll see a light flashing on your ir device, or you can aim your camera at the ir bulb on your remote control press any button and you can see an ir light flashing, that way you can see if your batteries have fully drained out or if your remote is broken, it'll save you a lot of money on calling a technician and getting charged a ton of money

Thanks for explaining good. But my question is that how long it’s range. My issue is my iptv box is another room around 15-20 feet away from my tv. I can connect receiver with it but I cannot bring the wires from that room to my room. But I connect transmission in my room with wires to my tv. Does it work? In the short can I use this device wirelessly from my room to another room? I hope will get response soon. Thanks

Does the receiver have to be line-of-sight with the transmitter?

How does the transmitter transmit to the receiver, is it 2.4gig wireless signal or something else, it's not clear.
