Why Did Ocean Liners Disappear? | HISTORY

In the past, the only way to get across the sea was by ocean liner. Society has mostly forgotten about them and what their purpose was. Many people think they were old fashion cruise ships, but don't know the legacy of the great liners that once plowed the heavy seas. Here now is the story of why they all but disappeared.

WHY ARE COMMENTS DISABLED? -Because this video is designed for beginners, people who don't know that Ocean Liners are different than cruise ships...or younger folks who know the difference, but have never understood why we don't have these ships swarming the seas anymore. As such I get too many comments that say "Don't need to watch, the answer is planes." It's become ridiculously overwhelming. People are not born with the knowledge that planes replaced ocean liners, they learn it somewhere, and this is one of the videos designed to teach that, to deep-dive into it. And it was created to do it all with a flair of entertainment to make the learning process enjoyable.
