When I was pregnant, my body temperature got hotter (before I use to be cold all of the time, but then I was hot all of the time). My cats would love to cuddle me. While it was cute and I enjoyed it, I felt miserable waking up to being surrounded by my cats and sweating like crazy lol. They were enjoying my heat, but were also making me feel hotter.

Cats like being warm but no they do not like “extreme” heat. I put my cat in my car one time to go to the pet store with me and it was hot outside but I had the ac running to start cooling the car. It wasn’t fast enough for him! I felt fine but he was freaking out and panting. I learned a lesson for sure that day.

No. They don't like extreme heat cats body temperature is higher than humans so they like higher than normal temperature but not EXTREME heat ...

I have so many beds for my cats and put them against the sun window. They love it. I do have a cooling mat for them if they get too hot.
