Dermal Fillers Toronto | Dr. Cory Torgerson

Показать описание
Dermal fillers, also known as injectable fillers, have become a very popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment for both men and women.
Fillers are a safe and effective solution for restoring volume to areas where it has been lost, or contouring areas of the face that never had great definition originally.
Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, Teosyal, Redensity II, Voluma and Vobella are all Health Canada approved brands that contain hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring protein already found within our bodies in the soft connective tissue of the skin, so the risks associated with using a hyaluronic acid product is very rare. Fillers with HA normally last 6 to 18 months and are the best type of filler on the market today for men and women.
Other, less popular fillers are ones such as Radiesse, Sculptra or Selphyl. These products are made differently, have different uses and should be considered carefully before injection.
Dermal fillers are injected with tiny needles. Pain is most commonly managed with either a topical cream or with the use of Lidocaine. Lidocaine is a freezing agent already within most hyaluronic acid fillers on the market today.
A free consultation at our downtown Toronto Facial Cosmetic Clinic may be the best way to determine which filler would be best suited to you. Contact our office today to find out more information!
