Mongols, the terrifying warriors of Central Asia, the 'horsemen of the devil', menaced Eurasia in the medieval times. The Mongol Army, led by Genghis Khan and his descendant Khanates, single-handedly brought an end to the Islamic Golden Age, killing every man, woman and child wherever they want. But there was one place they could not invade - the Delhi Sultanate. They attacked India more than 6 times and one man, Alauddin Khilji, repeatedly defeated the Mongols.

Nice description of the horrific story of mangolians. Why they were so cruel? Sometimes poison kills poison, and Alauddin Khilji worked like that. Thanks for sharing.

What!!!! You mean that khilji save us from Mongols😂. As a history enthusiast I know that how turkic rulers treat our Bharat especially Alaudin khilji, ,how he burnt and sack the Nalanda....Gengis khan was cruel ruler no doubt but you should mention why he attack khwarzm empire...pov of Mongols....and you are talking about golden age of islam those valueble research and compilation was done by our great rishis ...like Aryabhata, Shusruta, Bhaskar and many more they just steal and translate into Arabic..and lastly Gengis himself did not attack India and he was not contemporary to khilji (I hope if they were) he was contemporary to lltutmish who was also turkic cruel ruler.., , ,
