DOWNFORCE vs MECHANICAL Braking (F4 vs F3)

Показать описание
Downforce has a huge effect on a car's performance in corners, but it also completely changes the braking technique. The extra grip provided by the downforce allows for more relative braking pressure at high speed, but that grip quickly disappears as the car decelerates. This means the braking shape needs to reflect a peakier triangle. Are you adjusting your braking force for the type of car?

That F4 livery brings some memories from 1980/90

I thought super low speeds like this corner, downforce doesn’t really have any effects? And low speed cornering is mostly mechanical? Or is this backwards?

Uh, funny.. I always trail break more in the F3 than F4.. that's why I'm slow then 😅

Or maybe because the F3 cars just have better brakes?
