This would be an excellent subject to carry further.. we do not recall anything being taught in school about Irish participation in the American Civil War..

We know so little about our heritage.. and seeing all of those weapons that were used.. even stamped with the date.. makes us yearn to know more about the brave men who used these weapons..

So.. we are hoping you will delve deeper into this.. as the territory is pretty much uncharted!
