Bought the F16 based on your review and really enjoy it. Basically everything I want in a paddle. I've got a DBD coming and looking forward to seeing if I feel much difference. Now I'm wondering about the R1 Pulsar as I liked my R1.16 but wanted a little more pop. Watching your videos is getting expensive but thanks for doing them.

It would be interesting to see how well the 16MM Flash holds it's bounce around the throat where typically on most paddles that is a dead area. I saw a review on the Double Black Diamond which I think the 16mm Flash is most comparable to that showed that it still had good bounce around the throat.

The shape, height, weight, construction of the Vatic Flash is identical to the Double Black Diamond 16mm. It will be interesting to see if they play the same.

Honestly I felt that the Vatic Flash 16 is softer/more plush than the Vatic V7

Also Chris Olson of Pickleball Studio seemed to really like the 16mm Flash as well. So your brother thought it felt like the CRBN? To me the Vatics seem a little poppier. CRBNs May spins bit more.

Is your hair even shorter? Man next review gonna have a shaved head haha. I also really liked the Vatic 16mm little on the heavy side but all the 16mm seem to be 8.1-8.3. I also have a Vatic Dlash 14mm coming and that should really pop after putting tungsten tape on all 4 corners. You really can’t beat the value in the Vatic. And after speaking with Daryl he said none of the Vatics have any delamination issues.
