Hello Brothers and Sisters, and welcome to the Jungian Aion!

In this interview, Dr. Richard Evans is interviewing Carl Gustav Jung, the most influential psychologist to have ever existed. Filmed at Jung's home in Küsnacht, Switzerland, this interview offers a unique glimpse into Jung's thoughts on the unconscious, intuition, synchronicity, healing and his groundbreaking theories that continue to shape modern psychology.

Over the course of four one-hour sessions, Jung discusses the genesis of his ideas, including the development of analytical psychology and the role of archetypes and the collective unconscious. This interview is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in the history of psychology and Jung's lasting impact on our understanding of the mind.

These filmed interviews were not only a profound discussion on analytical psychology but also provided a closer look at Jung's personality, his intellectual vigor in his later years, and his continued impact on the field. It was intended for educational purposes and has since become an essential resource for Jungian scholars.

I strive to mediate the profound light that Jung himself brought forth through his work and life. It is part of my life’s purpose. In many ways, we modern humans have lost touch with the core of our being—our psyche, our soul. Jung guides us back to that source in a way uniquely suited to our modern consciousness. Through his teachings, I have found the most meaningful path toward realizing my own potential for wholeness, joy, maturity, and creativity.

Jung mapped the inner world with remarkable clarity, revealing where our psyche and civilization stand and what is necessary for our individual and collective growth. With his guidance, I hope we can keep our inner flames burning in the midst of the darkness that surrounds and inhabits us, thus promoting in our world and selves - health, courage, and reflection.

Jung was a great philosopher. He was the man who put the questions of human origin into context at modern time. Thank you.

Remember Rudolf Steiner's words:
"For every step in science or spirituality, three steps should be taken in morality and ethics."

These words from Steiner ring heavy in my mind. Think about it: does it make any sense for us to advance our harming- and destroying-capabilities when we do not have enough basic respect for one another to not use them unless "absolutely necessary"?

This is why I agree with Steiner. We need more morals and ethics, considering where we are now as a species.

It seems like the concept of Self was borrowed by Jung from Nietzsche.

Every day is critical for morality, but you already knew that! ;)

Jung is wrong here, the nietzschean power drive is also about morality. Active nihilism. Jung was a platonist, and is no wonder he critizices Nietzsche in this regard.

In spite of Nietzsche's best efforts, the ideas and prejudices he fought against are alive and well. Think about the slave morality and how religions which create guilt, preach weakness as a virtue, and urge us to renounce this world with the promise of "Heaven", are alive and well. We don't need brutally honest thinkers like Nietzsche to reach the conclusion that not every human being is an individual, because the evidence is all around us.

Das Wille zur Macht and specially the concept of Will is still nowadays not fully understand. Will is all the humans have to move out or in the divine/spirituality.
