I enjoy Robin Guthrie; solo wise he is great; however when combined with Harold Budd... both became masterful. Their collaboration is legendary and pretty much unapproachable in the world of ethereal music. Together they didn't just create great music, they created world's. Been a Guthrie fan since the mid 1980s and I was getting into shred guitar back then but something about Robin's smooth, ambient riffing cut to the soul. Cocteau Twins and Dead Can Dance are two of my all time favorite "alternative" bands. Legenadary!🤘🏻

That soundtrack is one of my favorite albums of all time, and while i love harold budd, its mostly because of robin. I wish the soundtrack was the original score though and not a remake of it

I come back to the sound of Robin Guthrie time and time again throughout my entire life. He and Elizabeth Fraser were outliers in the music world. Rarely compromising and ultimately remaining the artists they are. I listen to this music and I can hear Elizabeth echoing somewhere out there in eternity.
