While foreman was a brawler, he really did have a technical aspect to his game that allowed him to land those really heavy looping shots.

Dang, i never realized that forman, ali, frazer, all kinda beat the other based on differing styles. that’s pretty epic

Common misconception, Mike Tyson was not an infighter, in a way he was but That's more because he was short than anything else, if you had to pick a style archetype for him aggressive counterpuncher is much more fitting.

Foreman be like "Nah Sonny hit harder than me" while he looks like he barely touches guys and they go to the canvas.

I feel like James Toney would shift into each and every style. Every time I go back and watch some of his fights, his technique seriously amazes me. The way he can flow at any distance, anywhere in the ring, it’s incredible.

Let’s not forget about Lomachenko’s amazing footwork and GGG’s incredible power

In MMA this happens too. We have the muay thai-grapplers, boxer-grapplers and kickboxer-wrestlers. Kickboxer-wrestlers like Cain Velasquez are like the in-fighters in boxing, boxer-grapplers like Francis Ngannou are the sluggers and muay thai-grapplers like Anderson Silva are the out-boxers. And the muay thai-wrestlers like Jon Jones are that hybrid fighter like the boxer-punchers.

This is the greatest way to study all kinds of boxing styles and not just boxing defenses

Great video! Odd that you would pick the Wilder VS Stiverne clip to show Wilder's one punch knockout power when that was the only win out of 40 where he didn't win via knockout.

Joe Louis was one of the best ever boxer-punchers. And his record attests to that in being Heavyweight Champion for 11 years and eight months.

I might be wrong but wasn’t Roberto Duran known to be an insane pressure fighter more than an all rounder? His infighting was known to be a work of art

Appreciated the clarification. I would hear someone say in a boxing match that one fighter is a boxer and the other is a puncher and I’d be thinking “um aren’t they both boxers?”
