At the CBI's annual conference, director Rain Newton-Smith will warn that changes to National Insurance and inheritance tax are making an already tough trading environment worse.

However, the Government defends the tax hikes as necessary to "repair public finances," but businesses argue they are being hit with too many changes at once.
