It's already done immeasurable harm, delaying it so long has killed consumer confidence. If everything in Labour's manifesto was costed like they claimed it was, why a 4 month delay in having a budget? Telling everybody it will be painful simply isn't helping matters.

Some people don’t have deposits to put down for rental or private homes even tho they might be able to afford a mortgage monthly. This is why buying council homes is a good option for some people 🤔

Yes and will impact a lot of people and including working people. Also impact a lot of small and medium sized businesses if they raise employers national insurance and if they end up putting business rates back up for hospitality businesses it will impact them, And I thought labour talked about or mentioned changing or fixing the the whole business rates system? Also if they raise fuel duty as well and how that could impact a lot of people, businesses, farmers, those who rely on there vehicle for there job or everyday use and also raising could impact on other prices such as food prices etc? So so much for growth or to increase productivity

I’ve been in the building trade in Scotland for the last 20 years and over the last few years at least the social housing attached to private sites has been a thing, the interesting thing is, when these social houses are being occupied….. it’s Ukrainian, Asian, African and Indian people moving into them ……. so certain people are getting a great start in a brand new house paid for by our taxes ! Yet people who have lived here for generations, can’t get the new houses or afford to buy their own !
