People in Turkiye are very lazy when it comes to researching which product is better. They directly buy whatever is said to be 'better' based on hearsay. As a result, Nvidia's market share in Turkiye is much higher than AMD's, leading to Nvidia being priced higher than it should be. This past May, I bought a 6650 XT, which was 40% cheaper than the RTX 4060, and I'm glad I did.

When I saw the title I thought the 4060 would be a clear winner, certainly 15% + on average, and they'd be a close-ish on price to performance, with the 4060 being an easier recommendation due to dlss. Kudos to the 6650xt for making this more competitive than I thought. Great video!

I think 6750XT would be more interesting against 4060 considering they are currently both around $270-300.
And 6750XT would be the clear winner with better performance and more VRAM.😂

I used to dream of buying an RTX to activate ray tracing while playing Hogwarts Legacy. But after further consideration, I decided to buy the RX 6650 XT instead of the RTX 4060 due to the cheaper price. It turns out that it works like a charm and can activate ray tracing also (although it's not as good as the RTX). However, after a few minutes, I deactivated the ray tracing, realizing that it's not that necessary. The gameplay is still fun, the graphics are excellent, and the FPS is satisfying. So, yes, I am glad I bought the RX 6650 XT because it provides what I need, not what I want.

I own both the 6650XT and the 6750XT, either way wouldn't think the 4060 is worth it. It's overpriced for the performance it gives you to be honest. Here in Canada it still goes for around 400$ CAD when you can get a 6650XT for around 300$. That's a big price delta.

2:10 YES. I have seen this happen a lot in nixxes games. All these sony ports, it often spills my vram, I have a 6700xt btw. VRAM utilization sits below 9gb, while allocation creeps up to 12gb and everything goes to shit. I play at 4k with fsr, and I often can't use ultra textures.

in my country the 6650xt and 4060 had a price difference of just 20usd so i did grab the 4060(my previous gpu was a 1050ti) but i wished nvidia made this card a bit faster or atleast gave us more Vram like they did in the 3060

You should consider using Rachet and Clank Rift Apart maxed out without RT I was able to get VRAM usage to 13GB I was surprised it could use that much.

I've been helping some coworkers figure out what type of gaming rigs they want to build and it's becoming really difficult to recommend an Nvidia card at the entry-level of performance tier. With someone who is brand new to PC gaming, explaining things like VRAM can be difficult, but when you say, "well if you get an 8GB GPU, you're going to need more of it in the immediate future" it usually pushes them towards Radeon cards. I try to be as unbiased as I can and show them the TechPowerUp databases and their game performance articles but I have always recommended AMD cards for their budgets of $1, 000 to $1, 500. Searching the used market for good deals on Ampere cards has been frustrating.

With regards to the vRAM issue at 2:10 it looks to me nvidia might be downscaling some of the textures to keep inside the 8Gb vRAM buffer....look at the foliage on the trees.

ghost of tushima has memory leak issues with amd cards i think, as i have been experiencing the same thing, game runs fine for 60 min then suddenly drops to 10 fps and eventually game crashes and i get a popup something saying "not enough memory" or something similar

was playing remnant 2 with my buddy and he has 6650xt i have 3060ti. he was getting 24fps while i was getting 80fps!!! same settings but his vram was being destroyed

I briefly considered a 4060 when I wanted to upgrade from my 3050 Ti gaming laptop but after about an hour of looking and comparing GPU's I immediately ruled it out...Expensive and overpriced, underpowered, 8GB VRAM (wtf for a £300 card?!), I went with the 6750 XT instead...More or less the same price, way more powerful and 12GB VRAM. 6650 XT is great value too if you wanna spend less money than the 4060, 6650 XT is faster and is £100 cheaper.
