I'm surprised how far Intel polished their drivers. With this kind of driver improvements, I can see myself using Arc card in the near future.

Like others I had to go with AMD this time. Just picked up a vanilla 6600 for $220 new. Running a 1080P monitor it's great in all my games. The super low temperatures are just a bonus.

I went with ARC recently and have been really impressed with performance, especially with the frequently updated drivers. Looks like the market has healthy competition these days.

Wouldn't mind seeing more best GPU for $X videos. I know the market fluctuates but the past three months prices haven't changed much at all. Occasionally we'll see high end last gen GPU's pop up on sale but the quantity is so low and they still sell out pretty quick which to me shows that there's still quite a few people interested in a newer GPU when the price is right.

Good to see Nvidia getting absolutely crushed in the low end market.

Great video glad to see you tested both the 8gb and 16gb Arc card!

Arc is showing very good RT scaling. Intel actually has been researching real-time RT since at least the Core 2 era and have gained extensive experience, they just need to materialize it in a more powerful GPU architecture.

Whoa! It's awesome to see the A770 doing so well! I'm surprised at the 8GB vs 16GB performance though. I would like to see a more detailed showdown of the A770 8GB vs A770 16GB in games where you go through various games settings to try to get as much out of the the RAM usage as possible to see how the performance stacks up. Many games nowadays it's very easy to hit the 8GB ceiling and I wonder if the 16GB would actually help enough with getting a little more graphic features with still good performance. Thanks for this video!

"Red, green or Blue"

Feels good to have three options. Hope the competitions keeps up.

A green, blue and red battle! Great to see, I hope intel stays in the GPU market, need someone to stir the market up.

Looking at the Steam Survey "GPU Dx12":
RTX 3050: 2.77%
RX 6600 + 6650 : 0.90%

People don't know about this stuff and make a choice based on Nvidia's reputation aka Spacer's Choice.

I got that 6650xt a few weeks ago. Didn't get a free game but a $20 rebate. Plays great in my 5600x rig. Such a great value

The winner here is the RX6650XT with the Arc A770 being a close match-up but also lacking optimization for DX9 titles and legacy games. I can't believe that there are people buying the RTX 3050 when the RX 6650XT is readily available.

I bought the A770 8GB at New Egg at the $270 price. March 31 ARC driver update really improved StarCraft II for me. Maxed out settings now and no hiccups. Did the ARC have this update when reviewed?

The Arc A770 16GB should probably be a good match on todays games that require more than 8GB VRAM, like RE4 and The Last of Us PC

I have both the 16gb A770 and just built a pc for my friend and talked him into the Asrock verison 8gb A770. Both cards are very close as was shown here and with each driver update are getting better and better. I wanted to try the new Intel cards but was sure at first but they are totally worth imo. If you're looking for a cheap upgrade and care about looks I would give Intel a strong look.

Was considering an arc card when it first dropped bc I was on a budget. Decided not to because of early driver issues. Maybe that 16gb of vram for the launch edition would be worth it for the future??

Hi! I have two questions. First, what about power consumption those VGA? Second, why 1440p resolution was chosen?

Look out nvidia and AMD. The ARC770 and 750 are essentially first gen consumer level GPU products. If you ignore the ARC380. NVIDIA and AMD been doing gaming GPUs for a long time. For Intel that normally makes low power laptop iGPUs and notoriously slow desktop iGPUs, the Arc770 is impressive, albeit with initial driver issues.

If I didn't already have a 6700XT I'd probably jump for the A770 now. Especially for some games that use XeSS. Meanwhile this continues to show what a bad card the 3050 is. I expect the 4050 and 4060 are going to be overpriced and underwhelming whenever they show up too.
