Having seen this on the BBC lately...
...with the possible exception of "The Expanse", this is by far and away the best science-fiction series currently in production. Taut, tense, thought-provoking and thoroughly satisfying, I would genuinely highly recommend this underrated masterwork for anyone with an interest in the gem. Even if you have your skepticisms (like me) on the content or the execution, suffice to say that it looks, sounds and feels utterly gorgeous like the best classic SF films or serials (2001, Solaris, Twilight Zone) you'd care to mention, and is easily worth a try for the first episode at least for the experience alone. Credit is surely due to Mr. Lacombe for this piece de la resistance- and already I cannot seem to wait for the second series.
(seriously people- after the disappointment of recent Star Trek and so forth, this is properly properly satisfying.)

Excellent series. Many similarities to Solaris - main character is a psychologist who's father is dying of cancer, also humans try to understand alien lifeform while the alien is trying to understand them.

This is a really great show!. Back on the telly last night but it's really well done. The French pulled a blinder with this one and the other show that was shown on telly "The Last Wave". Excellent viewing!.

0This was a terrifically engaging series that goes beyond cliche and offers the viewer food for thought, highlights the human condition and provides rib cracking humor (some of it seemed unintentional)....only downside was the really short length of episodes-only 20 mins each
