You can report damaged guardrail in North Carolina to NCDOT.GOV/contact

You do not need to know the road owner because NCDOT is legally required to forward it to the municipality.

Good. It's amazing how something so small can make such a difference. My dad died in 2016 at a place there should have been a stop or caution light. Many people died in this same exact place before my dad and a few who passed right after. This section of road was so dangerous. We finally got them to install a simple caution sign with a small blinking light about 4yrs ago and not one single person has died there or been critically injured since. Not one single person. If this simple sign had been put up 5yrs earlier when the local residents started asking, my dad and about 9 others (that I know of! I'm sure there's at least a few I can't find) might still be alive today. We don't realize how important these simple things can be until there isn't one where we need it.

This is a great start. Ever since I've come across your videos/channe. I now have been scanning the roads everytime I'm out and about. You've positively created a "guardrail safety inspector vigilante" in me for a few roads out here in CA's central coast region. I know there has to be a stoic saying thats better than "it just takes one to start", but you get what I'm saying. Great work your doing.

Yea ever since I started seeing these videos I've been looking at the guardrails more as I drive and there are tons in massachusetts that are dented or damaged. I have to look into how to report them to the right people, but thank you for bringing this to everybody's attention! I'm sure you've saved a lot of lives not just from the ones you have gotten people to fix/replace but also all the ones that other people have noticed and reported because they saw your videos.

Where I live in Western North Carolina there are so many messed up guard rails, it’s not even funny. I was in a wreck back in 2012, and they *STILL* have not fixed the posts that I hit smh

Tell city council to stop hoarding our tax dollars that we get charged yearly for "road repairs". I honestly dislike the fact that City Council gets allotted enough to fix these issues but not only does the City make it hard to apply to road work and as a citywide repairman but has anyone seen the city council? Nice cars, big homes, and there are these issues and homeless populations along with ghettos that need to be extremely taken care of yet no one really cares. I think I'm gonna eventually get upset enough at the bs of city council leaders and do something to get the state to recognize their biggest flaw in their chain of command. City council members should be arraigned and tried for murder when anyone hits these guard rails and passes away... it's sad to watch our leaders turn into celebrities and greedy, money Succubus'...

I live in NC and our roads are very poorly maintained and it takes forever to get guardrails repaired after car accidents and even areas that are around bridges that have flowing water beneath. Some of our roads are extremely hazardous including large potholes debris constant construction that is literally never completed but always happening and signs that are down and never repaired
