This is the direction that The Amazing Spider-Man films should have gone in.  I absolutely loved Emma Stone's portrayal of Gwen Stacy and it would have been so awesome to see what she'd do with superpowers.  To my knowledge there hasn't been a truly great movie that portrayed a female superhero, so it actually could have made history if it was done right.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Spider-Gwen. Such a cool character and Jason Latour does such a great job at writing her as complex, haunted, and stronger than the 616 Gwen. I love that she's more of a rocker than a preppy girl. I believe that the next issue of Spider-Gwen will expand on what really happened in her battle with Peter and I can't wait to read it

It is pretty funny how everything's backwards. In 616 Peter is Spidey and Gwen dies, in 65 Gwen becomes Spidey and Peter dies, I just find that so funny. Well, not funny that they died, but you get the point.

One annoying thing about Spider-Gwen is that every Spidey fan is always talking about her series but they're all missing out on Silk, a book that I would argue is of even greater quality. Also with the amount of variants we've had of the supporting cast of spider-man it's nice to have a completely new character, albeit with similar abilities. I know Silk polarised opinions in Spider-Verse but I liked her story in that.
