It has been 5 years since I lost my last friend, I only get to talk to someone when I get my groceries delivered once every 2 weeks.
Today, my voice didn't work and instead of saying thanks to the delivered guy, I just squeaked.
There are some good things about being alone, you can expell gases any time you need to, you scratch any itch, if it is a hot day you don't need to get dressed, no one argues with you, no one makes you feel bad about yourself.
Being alone is rather peaceful.

He sold most of his grants for cheap partly because he wasn’t doing it for the money just so the humanity would have more tools and move forward. He had a hard time relating to people so no one really took him seriously and was often met with many criticisms for his lack of social skills. He died in a hotel room alone. After all his family had died.
