Using Tax Records in Genealogical Research

Tax records are an underutilized source in genealogical research, and yet they are absolutely crucial for finding familial connections, especially in states like Virginia where many other records are lost. This talk will explore the various ways our ancestors were taxed and how to locate and interpret those records in our family history research.
