I use blade binge constantly now. I've found tons of great deals. I've probably bought 40 used/second hand knives and have yet to be disappointed by one. Also have met a ton of cool people. Even what seems to be a cute female that specializes in sharpening knives "every knife guy's dream" she sells strops and emulsions, the knife community there is the best. Great experience every time. I'm excited to even sell some on there some day.

Al Mar used to be great when they were made in Japan. Just beautiful crafted knives, I especially like the old fixed blades.

After much searching, finally found my MSI SE there. Super happy I checked it out.

The ZT0850 was the knife that got me into knives. I spent a long time looking at "premium" knives and kept coming back to that one. This was late 2018/early 2019. I tuned the action, on washers BTW, to be crazy smooth and drop shut.
It's definitely one I'll never let go.

Always assumed that back in the day as I was first getting into knives Nutnfancy had a not insignificant affect on the demand for Al-Mar knives, particularly the Hawk or Eagle (can't remember which one). They always seemed a bit pricey for what they were, but had nice enough designs for the time.
