The dynamic range in GT7 is in another level.

GT7 is on another level, its the only game where you know rain is coming because you feel cold. 😂

Kaz wasn't lying when he said they recreated the sky and even the full nights sky complete with star system

Forza seems to completely skip the (or have an extremely short) blue hour at both sunset and sunrise, causing it to get brighter/darker so much faster while also missing that last/first bit of light when the sun is below the horizon. Forza looks good, but the attention to detail Polyphony has and how well they use lighting/color is on another level.

Great video

GT7 wins by a mile. They reproduced even the stars in movement

GT7 on a completely different league....FM just copy pasting sky boxes while GT7 actually has unique sky boxes which are completely authentic to those tracks real life locations, mind blowing....you can even see the stars moving around in real time

Both have great looking clouds, but the sky on GT is significantly more dynamic. It gets brighter, darker, and has a lot more variation in hues and breadth of gradients that represent the full spectrum of the day/night cycle. Not to mention the astrological features. It goes a long way to make a difference.
EDIT: I just realized that clouds don't really move in Forza. Wow. I can't unsee that. More formations will pop in around it, but they don't actually move. GT is better by a landslide then.

Is it just me or when you drag the slider to go even faster the clouds in forza don't actually move at all...

Oh yeah, Gran Turismo has accurate sun position according to the track location, so 8:00 PM in one track is different from 8:00 PM in another track

So in forza it gets dark and light with a flick of a switch yet gt using a nice slow dimmer 🤔Another win for GT.

The cloud remains the same shape in Forza despite moving edges, and is used across multiple tracks.

LMAO. So the clouds in Forza are literal GIFs that just loops over and over. Yikes. Turn10 devs are bunch of talentless hacks holy shit

Gran Turismo 7 is technically so much better in many many ways but Forza does have a few effects that looks great like driving through rain. Gran Turismo 7 takes the cake though overall. The lighting is simply the chefs kiss.

I thought it would be worse in Forza, but in fact it’s ok
but still, essentially there is just a looped animation for about 20 seconds. clouds don't actually move.

With HDR on, on a proper HDR display GT7 is significantly improved then the comparison is even worst cus Forza doesnt do HDR as GT7. GT7 also has way more weather effects and different cloudiness every time, if u go to custom game there like 30 options for weather so even clear has multiple versions, like misty, or foggy, or different types of sunlight. Forza shouldnt even be compared to GT7, the graphics are literally world class for GT7, like rockstar and naughty dog level, even rockstar and naughty dog arent on this level yet, but there last games were on last gen so not a fully fair comparison but still crazy.
