in my opinion at this price is better for picking up more and more shares at a cheaper price as long the dividend continues to grow.

DGRO is similar with a 53% overlap of stocks but it has about 50% more stock diversity. In the long run DGRO may have a little better yield. SCHD isn't tech heavy so if the AI thing doesn't happen you'll be looking good. It's solid and at a great price to buy right now.

i just wish it paid monthly and had over 4% dividend yield also it's yearly returns are below the market but i think it'll recover in time. nows the time to buy $$$

your math is correct but the problem with this is what will a million be worth in the future a dollar 30 years from now will be worth less one now but a million in the future will be worth striving for because the dividends will help pay your bills then

DGRW in the same space has done better in growth and SCHY has a better yield. I think in the long run the covered call etfs Jepi, divo etc will beat SCHD simply due to additional revenue creating more than double the yields. I still own a chunk of SCHD but am debating exchanging it for a covered call one.
