How To Turn Your SMARTPHONE Into a Fluorescence MICROSCOPE...for Under $50?!
Показать описание
Fluorescence microscopy is an amazing cutting-edge technology that enables scientists to view microscopic objects in more detail. But traditionally, taking microscope images of fluorescent specimens is costly and complicated. In this video, we're discussing a study done by a team of researchers who wanted to make fluorescence microscopy more accessible by converting their smartphones into fluorescence microscopes! What's more, they accomplished this for under $50 each using simple parts ordered online! They were able to turn many types of cellular smartphones into fluorescent microscopes. They called these DIY microscopes "glowscopes". The scientists here envisioned glowscopes being used in the classroom for improving hands-on science learning activities.
