Don’t set expectations. Just go on that blind date or person of interest and have a good time. You should have a good idea within 6 hours on one “date”. Attraction, personal needs, getting along and compromising on decision is one advice. Later down the road if things work out and u just click then it’s potential BF / GF situation or as I label it my friend girl and friend boy and nothing more or less. Yah, just go out and meet people and do things together that’s couples do and u will know when you have met the “correct” person. I’ve never used any dating services and considered myself attractive, a conversation piece and got married late in life. We have a child and great family life. Marriage is one of the best thing that has happened!!

I think Singapore is the perfect place to be single and “stay” single. I see so many people of both genders who are always single.
I think in Asia is harder to settle down.

Usually this problem comes from age, mind set and character.
When we were young we can be wild, fun, more easy going, a little immature, doing a lot of rubbish. ‘Yeh, friend for ever’. The boundary line is not so clear.
But follow by the growing of age we tend to have more privacy, more realistic, more consideration, more protective.
When over certain age (what age depend on different person) we started to unsure to let another person ‘conquer’ our way of living.
You have to learn to live with someone. You have to change your live, your way of doing thing.
Married before all the personality is fully molded is much more easy to adjust oneself than after reaching certain age.

Basically, the scammers syndicate has taken over most of the dating apps.

Gals who are not pretty enough, don't get "Likes". Those gals that are too pretty are 99.9% scammers. Once you start to chat with them, they will tell you that they don't use this App much and ask you to add them on some chat apps. Then another department takes over from there.

I'm sure it would be entertaining to see what guys think of themselves in their profiles. How many are closet narcissists, who has low/high self esteem, and which ones are serial daters. It would be interesting to see what your take is on the psychology of the individuals based on their profiles. Also perhaps discuss what some red flags are for people that may not have much experience with online dating.
