My partner got a cake when he bought his new car. On top of the cake, there was a small 'sharon fruit' (I don't know the exact specie). I took out the only seed that was in it, dried it a bit on a paper towel. I then put it inside a wet paper towel, and put it inside a zip lock bag. I put it on my bathroom floor, which has heating. And then I laid a folded towel on the top. After a week the little seed had germinated. I'm going to plant it in soil today together with my lemon seeds. I read that the seeds has to go through a cold period in order to germinate. I guess that it went through that cold period when it was on top of the cake - in the fridge :)
I hope it will grow into a successful bush or tree or anything else.

How do you plant in a triangle of 3? How far apart? I ask because I have 3 small ones now coming along & haven’t planted yet.

This expert says prune at the end of the season, another one says do it in the spring. Who knows... Seedless variety sounds like a good idea. Mine are full of seeds and it's nearly impossible to keep the lawn free of sprouts.
