I always say this too: where was this show when I was 16?… this content isn't just entertainment but so educational for teens in a difficult age of life

At the very beginning: the warning.
I don't quite know what to make of that.... I just want to say and preface with that: I had a terrible eating disorder from the age of 14 to 18 years old. Some weeks: all I ate in that week was the equivalent to what a "normal" person [with a good diet] would have in *one* day. On bad weeks, I'd only drink orange juice and/or Dr Pepper.
My eating disorder has gone, thankfully. I'm 30 now.
Watching this video, and seeing that 'warning' at the beginning.... that's almost like standing in front of a therapist's office and seeing a sign saying "Warning! We're going to address your problems in this session".
It's weird.
It's also not very, hmm, 'intense' in this video either. It *might be* in the whole of season 3 (which I can't wait to watch tomorrow). Yes, eating disorders are addressed, but also, it's not like we see anyone die from not eating for 3 weeks. The show isn't THAT dark. I know of someone who was hospitalised from not eating for three weeks and went from 52 kgs to 41 : ME!
I needed support. I didn't ever ask for it and also YouTube wasn't full of videos like this back in the day.
If anything, this video should open with "this video discusses eating habits, particularly in regards to struggling teenagers and their coping mechanisms". A bit wordy, sorry.
I really didn't like seeing the word "warning" as if my house was going to catch on fire if I continued to watch the video...
