DOUBLE BOILER METHOD FOR HOT OIL TREATMENTS

Hi Queens, this is just a short clip of another way I do my hot oil treatments. This time round I used my double boiler to heat up my oils. A double boiler is the safest way to heat up oils so that all the goodness of the oils is still left behind to nourish your strands.

I used my Prepoo Magic oil mix and added some Sunny Isle Jamaican black castor oil to prepoo. I then added the castor oil to my deep conditioner and steamed my hair for 15 minutes.

I purchased my double boiler from Yuppie Chef for about R850 but you can create your own double boiler by placing two pots on top of each other. Don't forget to add water to the bottom pot and add the oils to the top pot once the water starts to boil.
