The Packard family name still resonates in Trumbull County: Packard Street, W.D. Packard Music Hall and Packard Park are just a few of the places named for the Northeast Ohio industrialists. Seventy years ago, it was the beginning of the end for their luxury car brand. Today, the National Packard Museum in Warren is running at full throttle to keep the memory alive.

Every day, I'm grateful to Packard for providing me a place to put my gloves.

Rich men used to be generous to their communities, WD Packard also provided for money left for a music hall. Free music concerts in the summer outside, Christmas concerts for the kids, a HS Jazz festival in April, a Sweetest Day, Valentines Day dances to name a few!

Packard was amazing car. They seemed to have reached their peak with the 1955 carribean convertable. If they continued as lincoln did with 56 premiere maybe they would have made it

My husband has a 49 Packard for sale he passed away 2 years ago he was the only one that knew how to start it and to drive it so it's been sitting in my garage so I don't know how to go about finding someone who might be interested he always wanted to fix it up and take it to car shows but cancer took all that from him so if you know of someone that might be interested I live in Waterloo Iowa I don't want it to set in there and rust away my name is pamclinton
