Wireless Link Budget and RF Units Conversion in EXCEL (EP17)

Показать описание
A standard method is applied using EXCEL or any other compatible spreadsheet tool. I think, it is the best end to end representation for wireless systems. Both directions, uplink and downlink, are considered to compute he maximum path loss. It is, besides the frequency, one of the most important parameters defining the range.
The second half of the video deals with units conversion. Common units for the electromagnetic field strength are isotropic received power in dBm, the electric field strength in dBuV/m, the electric field strength in V/m, the magnetic field strength in A/m, the electromagnetic power flow in W/m2.
