That's actually impressive seeing that bodystyle wasn't really all that fast compared to its newer version. If it weren't for that bodystyle and motor Mopar would have never made any of the new big track muscle cars we have today like the scatpack

My cousin had the same body style mustang with the 3.7l v6 and he turbo charged it and it was very close with hellcats and faster than scat pack but when a 300hp car starts pushing near 700hp it’s a lot more terrifying than a stock car with 700hp
