I owned a 22 GR86 in Neptune Blue and loved it. I just drove the 25 GR Corolla and it might be my next car. I live in Colorado (7, 120ft) so we get a bit of snow and I bet this GR Corolla would be fun all year long. Plus it has room for my 9 year old (not so much in the 86)

I bought a 24 Subaru BRZ Limited and have zero regrets. It’s the best new car for me in that price range. 900 miles in and I love it more and more as I drive it. I have never owned a car that makes me want to drive it even if I have no where to go. I don’t think there’s a better NEW driving car for under 50k.

Great video, very happy to see the GR86 with Performance Package evaluated by a competent reviewer!

14, 000 miles in, and I'm still loving my 2023 gr corolla. And it's so much fun on the snow as well. I'm looking forward to north Idaho winter #2!

I have the exact GR86 Trueno Edtion. Granted it doesn't have gobs of power but the thing handles like a dream. Take it to the twisties and it'll make you giggle curve after curve. There aren't many reviews of it, I'm glad to see one.

I got a GR86. I was offered a Corolla GR at the dealership, but I decided to get what I had come for.

No regrets. Love my GR86

I'm glad there are still car manufacturers making these affordable, daily drivers.

If you have the means for it, I would highly recommend buying both. I daily a GRC CE and also have a GT86 along side it. Absolutely love this duo.

$7K difference?
In Canada a slightly used GR86 is around $30K, a GR Corolla is like $55K!! It's literally almost double as much! I don't get it.

What we learn on Sebring all GR Corollas are overheating on the track after about 15 minutes.:(

Both fun cars, but the GR86 is a total head turner. Corolla is just another hot hatch that would mostly fade into the back ground with all the others you see about. It they could do a turbo version of the 86, it would be killer.

I'm very biased on cars that get around great in the winter... but 7k extra is too much for me to spring for the Corolla. I'd like to see a comparison between the similarly priced step-bros WRX & BRZ. Even though the BRZ's probably more fun, I'm sure that I could have enough of it in a WRX, especially wagon.

Ive been loving my '24 GRC Premium. Every single time i sit in it I cant help but smile(i commute 60 miles each way every day) and i still have trouble believing how good it is on gas. My next car purchase will have to be some winter tires/wheels because i dont think these pilot sport 4 tires will be great in the winter😅

As a racer, I can't help notice your arms are way too straight for good control. Bring the seatback up a couple notches? I got the Corolla, though I agree the 86 is the actual sportscar here, and I had the original 86 (and raced it) for 25+ years.

I have a GR86 premium press loan right now. It is the closest I have come to selling my Mazda 3

I have a '24 GR86 and love every mile I drive in it. I looked at the Corolla, but I knew the special feeling would fade pretty quickly. Especially when I had to explain to people why it was special. Yes it's a Corolla, but... You never have to do that in the GR86. And I love being able to spin a few donuts. 😊

10:23 so glad you didn’t void the warranty here. So close! 😂

Thanks for mentioning the tires for the GRC. Mine is only 4 months old but I'm thinking of the replacements already.leaam leaning towards the Conti DWS06+ since we can get snow during our winters.

If i went dedicated snow tires, I would look at the PS4S.
