Here are 6 easy ways to FILL your sketchbook. This time of year can be busy and stressful. My hope is that this video will give you some easy ideas that you can use as a creative outlet in your sketchbook, on a canvas, etc! A comfortable chair in a warm room, some comfortable clothes, and finally, reading in the evening. Those are the current things that make me feel cozy. My criteria for being cozy changes daily though, according to my mood. Some days painting, or sculpting will take precedence over reading. But I always make a small amount of time for myself to relax in a cozy setting as often as possible. I find it helps with my mental health as. I loved seeing inside your sketchbook. Your art is always flawless, and that makes me smile. I am enjoying my own art journey.

Something that makes me cozy is knit everything. I even tought myself to draw a knit pattern for my characters with knit sweaters. I've noticed that a lot of youtubers use various tricks to mimick the feeling of knit fabric, but never really drawing it. I know that most of the time it's to save time, but I figured I may make my own video in the future with different pattern tutorials.

Thanks for the inspiration in this video Mira, it will be fun to try these ideas (as an older unwell person who has just started her artistic voyage) and create something simple that looks good.
My cosy things include: snuggling up in bed listening to a thunderstorm (and seeing the poor kangaroos sheltering under the eaves), wrapping up in a big soft towel after a hot bath or shower and hot water bottles. 🙂

I love this channel so much because it is the only channel that I can go to no matter what mood I’m in right now. I've been struggling with depression lately, so I have made myself a cozy corner next to my art table. Cozy rugs, blankets and pillows. I infused cinnamon and lemon into the area too
