About The Sandman:
After years of imprisonment, Morpheus — the King of Dreams — embarks on a journey across worlds to find what was stolen from him and restore his power.
There is another world that waits for all of us when we close our eyes and sleep — a place called the Dreaming, where The Sandman, Master of Dreams (Tom Sturridge), gives shape to all of our deepest fears and fantasies. But when Dream is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for a century, his absence sets off a series of events that will change both the dreaming and waking worlds forever. To restore order, Dream must journey across different worlds and timelines to mend the mistakes he’s made during his vast existence, revisiting old friends and foes, and meeting new entities — both cosmic and human — along the way.

Based on the beloved award-winning DC comic series written by Neil Gaiman, THE SANDMAN is a rich, character-driven blend of myth and dark fantasy woven together over the course of ten epic chapters following Dream’s many adventures. Developed and executive produced by Gaiman, showrunner Allan Heinberg, and David S. Goyer.

The soundtrack really goes with the characteristics of dream.

This soundtrack is underrated af. No idea how it has less than 100k views, the second I heard it on the opening scene, it was stuck in my head for hours as if it had some sort of hypnotic effect.

This is honestly perfect. I never before imagined a theme for Dream and his realm, but they nailed it in my opinion. Whimsy, mystery, hints of sadness, wonder, and grandeur. Brilliant.

The only problem with this show it doesn't have a proper opening title. The soundtrack is brilliant. Tommy Sturridge is a great actor.

This theme perfectly captures what dreaming feels like. It's a soft tune which perfectly encompasses how a child feels, falling asleep after a bedtime story. The mystical feel of it perfectly captures how creative a human mind can be when one is away from the waking world. By 1:29, you're engrossed in your own dream that by 2:00 you wake up and realize how vivid a dream can be.

This theme is so... divine. It's like it has an allure orchestrated to a dream.

This is a hugely underrated soundtrack. In the beginning, it sounds like a lullaby that you would usually hear from a music box, but as it progresses, it gets more sinister to reflect the unpredictable and sinister dream can be.

This show was a surprise but a delightful surprise. It quickly became one of my favorite shows and story of all time, cannot wait for season 2!

I bought the comics just so I could read up on this guy. I really love it. The comics definitely connect to the DC Universe a lot more. There's a lot of references to arkham asylum, a few references to the justice league and of course John Constantine is a prominent character. I know John was replaced in the show.
