Can't stress this enough, when you don't like today's country sound, it's a blessing finding diamonds in the rough like this guy.

The renewed sound of the past coming from these young men these days is just absolutely incredible and a breath of fresh air. We counting on y'all to do big things! Awesome track man. It's like southern country rock from the 70s mashed with a voice similar to the lead singer of Cage the Elephant and we get Hunter Root. Take my money when's the tour???? 🤣🤣 Gonna leave this here so whenever someone likes it I'm reminded to listen to it again.

I’m super picky about what I think sounds good, and I take a lot of pride in my taste in music. This person is about to blow up. ❤

This song came on while I was snowboarding. Don't think I've ever caught a vibe so hard before. I hit 56 mph.

LYRICS:
Gettin’ drunk by the figure 8
Figure one more beer oughtta set me straight
Young and carefree as a boy could be
Whiskey, smokes, and LSD
Railroad tracks run along the creek
Walk em up and down in the summer heat
Same ol’ boy changing like the seasons
Country kid turned into a town rat heathen
Daddy’s in jail for a dui
Brothers in rehab a second time
Fucked up on salts and spices of all kinds
Legal drugs doing double damaged to your mind
There must be greater forces at play
Too big to see and impossible to say
No one in life makes it out unscathed
Aches and scars
Now I think we’re even
Country kid turned into a town rat heathen
Gettin’ high by the covered bridge
Granny find out gonna flip her lid
Never did go to a high school dance
I was in love with a bad romance
Now I’m 28 with these aches and pains
Pray to the devil now with each complaint
No one in life makes it out unscathed
Aches and scars
Now I think we’re even
Country kid turned into a town rat heathen

Americana - storytelling through music, especially string based music
Country music cones from an office nowadays, Americana comes from a fire pit in the woods.

Why the hell doesn't this have more likes or views! This is something I'd love to hear on the Radio, and a lot of people around here would as well.

Absolutely phenomenal. In every sense of the word phenomenal this is phenomenal. Life changing and life saving stuff right here. I was 28 years old first listening, now I'm 29 and the song hits differently.

God bless you bro.
