you don’t always need a different pickaxe you can use a grindstone to get rid of the enchantes

I am at level 31 and have a table surrounded by 15 bookshelves, but I wouldn't see fortune 3 appear on the enchantments list. Then, I watched your video and now I know that going up to 40 or 50 xp will increase my chances of getting it. Did not know that! Thank you for the tips, very helpful.👍

A way that I can suggest if you don’t have a grind stone is you can enchant a different pickaxe that you have no use for and use that and it will switch the enchants on the diamond one

You can enchant shuffle with a wooden shovel, use a level one enchant and it will take one level. Then use grindstone to get like 25% of the xp back
