SHARP 4K TV REVIEW - BEST BUDGET TELEVISION?

Sharp 4K TV Review - Specifically the Sharp N6000U - is sub $1000 4K TV. The Sharp N6000U 4K UHD SMART TV Review which is possibly the best budget television is what I'll be covering today. In this video I cover the features, functionality, and overall impression of the Sharp N6000U 4k TV offering from Sharp - now known as Hisense (since Hisense acquired Sharp and all of it's TV's are now made by them). The specific model number is the Sharp LC-55N6000U (part of the N6000/N6000U series family) (55" 4K Smart TV) but it also has a counterpart Hisense H8C model as well. I purchased this 4k TV from Costco for about $750 CAD on Black Friday - and although it was a great deal, this Sharp TV doesn't quite live up to 4K and Smart TV expectations. I cover this in great detail in my review and have included actual footage of the TV in action as well. For those of you interested in purchasing the Sharp 4k TV, I would strongly recommend watching this review to see if you can live with the cons of the TV - as some of them are fairly significant. I would not recommend this Sharp TV for anyone who is a gamer, since the input lag is fairly high and this will affect game play, especially when it's in 4k.

Thank you for watching! Don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE if you haven't done so already. Leave a comment on products or videos you would like me to cover. Stay tuned for the next one!

I’ve got the 40” 4K model in my room, the only thing I don’t like about is not many apps but a part from that it’s a nice tv that works well

Hello Everyone!! Just a little FYI on these Sharp 75 inch TV's...if your DirectTV genie remote won't program to this TV, just choose the maker(Hisense) instead of "Sharp" and it WILL program instantly!!

Everyone says this tv doesn’t have hdr but I have the 55P6000u and my hdr works wonderfully on my ps4 pro, much better than my lg 49pf6430. And it is 10-bit white color gama

I brought one a few months ago, picture quality no different from Sony or Samsung, excellent deal for the money.

You have to change the HDMI format in the settings menu to enable HDR and the device has to be connected to either HDMI port 3 o 4.

It's good you point out the HDR not available..they have the Sharp 55" LC-55P6000U TV in this years Walmart Black Friday ad for a whopping price of $298 but....it too says it has HDR capability...which I'm looking for too and I won't buy a TV without that function...so I know to skip it for sure...nice catch :)

In all honesty, its overall speed seems to not be so bad (anymore maybe?). I just purchased the TV and after its "updates" it takes maybe 2-3 seconds from being off to displaying my content. I think I got the same model... Is it the Aquos?

Thanks a lot for this review. I have indeed heard and seen these HiSense TVs, but had no idea they are now the truthful owners of Sharp and that Sharp is no longer what it is. I feel so disappointed as I was looking forward to get a Sharp TV soon. I will definitely pass on getting one after learning what you exposed on your review. Thanks again!

Does that means Sharp TV is no longer a Japanese brand? I read it was bought over by Taiwanese Company Foxconn

I was heavily considering the similar P8000U, I don't know if it's basically the same as yours in regards to the HDR? If that function requires a download, you know something is not right. However, the TV looks good as is when you see it playing in store. I like the simplicity of Opera TV (this one does have Amazon), but there was no connection to test how fast the apps work. The smart OS is one of the main selling points for me in a 4k TV, more so than the 4k resolution actually. But the fact that it's not really suited to HDR makes me think I might regret it... Was thinking about an LG UJ instead, because LG's Web OS is pretty nice, plus it can recognize HDR out of the box like any TV should (don't know if the P8000U can or if it even matters because of the color limitation).

Can the stands be moved closer to the middle of the TV or are the fixed to 1 spot?
