There’s so much valuable info in this video and I like that you divide it into chapters based on what type of art someone might create! I agree that the luminance are the best for the portraits. Their color range and consistency really suits portrait work, and they aren’t overly waxy! I also agree a combination is best, I use my polychromos along with the luminance for detailed areas. That way I don’t have to continue sharpening the luminance too much(they’re just so dang expensive haha!). I’d love to have another oil based pencil like the derwent lightfast in my collection one day! Thanks for making such useful videos😊❤️

Thanks for this detailed video ...i love using colored pencils in mixed media illustrations ...they are great over watercolours 😁 my fav is the caran dache luminance too...I purchase them in open stock ...could you do a video on color palettes so we can buy limited colors since we can't buy the caran dache sets (as it's too expensive ) great videos btw ...I just subscribed 😁
