Akali in Coven was genuinely the biggest head scratcher for me

Akali, the Streetwear Ninja, as a high fashion witch?

The next biggest head scratcher was why Streetwear Ninja girl was in Coven, and then the Light Sorceress girl was in Soul Fighter

It’s like they got swapped. SoulFighter Akali and Coven Lux would have been perfect fits. And I know plenty of Lux mains have been asking for Coven Lux for a while now

One thing i talked about with my friends that would make soul fighter samira KINDA worth the price is making so that when there is ultimate samira in-game the game narrator would change into the arena soul fighter one, it would be pretty cool. Obviously it would have a toggle for people who didnt want to change it but it was an idea i had that i thought would be cool

Night/Dawn is such a disappointment because it WAS cool at one point. Yasuo's skin might be lack luster but Riven's was pretty good and the skinline peaked with God King Darius and Garen. God King might be the best two skins in the game.

Riot should have just kept it an exclusive Rivals event where two champions who are enemies in the lore duke it out and get legendaries.

Nasus and Renekton should have been an easy slam dunk but Riot chose the easy route and water the skinline down to nothing.

Honestly it makes me sad that they didn't explore more ideas for the Cosmic Paladin Sion skin. Like they could have made his soul furnace into a nebula/stellar nursery, literally have him ignite stars in the wake/trail of his Ult. Could have really sold the "creation through destruction" idea really well.

When the coven rumor first came out I kept telling people Akali felt like a horrible choice and people kept saying "nah it could work, she's gonna look so cool" and I feel so vindicated to see everyone hate the skin once it came out

Soul Fighter Samira is such a sad case because I genuinely love that skin. It's the skin I rock on Samira. But it is so ludicrously overpriced that i feel bad for anyone who buys it.

Immortal Journey Zeri and Street Demon Mundo should have been swapped.

Why would you add a gun character to the sword themed skin line? Meanwhile Mundo's big cleaver would have worked for Immortal Journey. Make him a martial zombie or just a big dumb muscle cultivator who has skipped out on learning how to use the sword in favor of getting more muscles. And Zeri's gun and costuming would have fit street demons amazingly. Make her gun a paintball gun, make her E leave a trail of spray painted lightning, and you would have had a banger skin. Street Demon Mundo isn't bad but I can't help but feel like they were swapped for some reason. Same vibe I see a lot of other people get from Coven Akali and Soul Fighter Lux.

I am so glad Graves did not have a skin this year, the closest skinline I want for Graves was Soul Fighter and La Ilusion, but other than that, I could not see him fit in any other skinline released this year.

As a Xayah main, it hurts to see her on this list. And as Coven Stan, Yeah Akali did threw me off.

The concept of a Witch who rebelled against their God became rogue is interesting but the execution flopped. It would have been better to have her a bit more cursed looking than her other sisters for betraying her patron.😊

Is Nightbringer Nasus redundant? Yes. But unfortunately playing with Infernal Nasus feels super clunky. And the skin itself is still really pretty. But I hope Nasus gets put in a better skin line this year.

One Café Cuties skin I'd love to see is a Manager Renata. It'd be hilarious and you could do so many great jokes with it. "Please do come back. I hear our drinks are positively addicting."

A wonderful thing about the Zed skin are the fidget spinners on his schoulders, also Jarvan to me always looks like a pantheon skin
