My Best Grad School Advice

I was recently asked, what is one piece of advice that you would give a future grad student. I shared, but I have three things! Lol! So I'm discussing all three in this week's video.

Toyin, I don't usually post as a busy exec, grandma, and grad student, but I have been so encouraged and supported by your very helpful, clear, and straightforward advice! Thank you so very much for the work you are doing! For those of us without mentors or who have not seen family and relatives take this path, you are so appreciated. I’ve been subscribed to you since I finished undergrad and it’s taken me 2.5 years to finally finish my grad applications (as of yesterday) and I’m so happy I did. It took me that long to find my “why” and I feel a lot more secure in my decision to finish apply and (hopefully if admitted) attend grad school for architecture so I can create buildings with practical design! It will allow me to design with a purpose and give back to communities and help me obtain the lifestyle I want 💛
