My Dansk cheese cutter and Dansk wooden-handled serving spoons (not part of this video) have never seen the dishwasher and I've avoided letting them sit in water, so they still look pretty good, but after 50 years it's time to refresh and protect them. Thank you for this demonstration. BTW, it was fun to see you use the knife along with the Dansk teak tray, which I also have. I've been a real Dansk fan since the late 60's.

So many people put knives in the dishwasher. Loved the Monarch. I planted a lot of milkweed and we have Monarch's all over now. Love watching you work.

You are definitely a master of your craft! For a number of years, I've struggled with gluing on angles. That is until i saw that you used sandpaper to keep everything from sliding. I just tried it and it works! Thank you so very much for showing me a simple trick that I should have caught onto a long time ago!

Beautiful pieces, love mid-Century Scandinavian design. An Eze Lap diamond hone is the perfect way to sharpen the cheese slicer. We're still using the one my wife picked up in Copenhagen in 1974.

It is so great to see how you deal with absolutely any problem, effortlessly! I wish I had learnt wood skills, it must be so satisfying to see the transformation of the beautiful wood, or the piece. Fabulous. 👌😄😄
