I Restored an Extremely Damaged Teak Table, and It's GORGEOUS

I wasn't sure if I would be able to save this mid 1970s dining table, but I had to try! While there was no way to get this much damage absolutely PERFECT, I did what I could to prolong the life of this Danish teak veneer and solid teak table.

I love how you address the entire piece including the bottom. So many YouTube furniture refinishers ignore areas that aren’t visible. I think it demonstrates your level of professionalism. Love your channel! One of my favs!!!

You should stick a sticker on the back of your furniture with a QR code that takes you to a video on YouTube of that piece of furniture being renovated.

So over the years withnew owners of the furniture even 50 years from now will see your video and see you refinishing it.

I just think it is a nice idea someone in 50 years might come across the QR code scan it then watch it.

Trust me when I say that if I lived next door to you I would be such a nuisance... I’d be camped out on your driveway just to watch your creativity at work.. you really are a talented artist!!

You continue to inspire me and inform me. You rock my world, girl! I'm70 now, soon to be 71, and I continue to flip furniture when I can. I'm at a standstill right now because I'm having spinal fusion surgery at the end of the month but then I'm back to it!

Good grief, Angie. you say it's not perfect but I doubt it looked this good when it was new. You saved it from the trash and gave someone an awesome piece of furniture. Your skills and craftmanship are put to good use. Love it!

Actually, the more messed up a piece is to begin with, the more excited I am to watch the video, because I know you're going to make it look amazing again! I wasn't wrong :)

Those holes in the ends of the table apron are for “Dutch Leaves” which extend the size of the table very elegantly with a simple angled support. My Mom’s Danish Modern dining table has them. I will be refinishing that 50 year old table with Odie’s Oil inspired by your work.

Seeing that table at the beginning of the video, I couldn’t tell the grain created a pattern. I couldn’t even tell it had grain. Great rescue, lots more beautiful years in that table, thanks to you.
