My uncle had a very high Q. He graduated from high school in the 9th grade as they no longer had anything else to teach him. He did suffer from depression and mental illness. I think he was often misunderstood and honestly at times probably lonely because of that reason.

As a child having a high IQ is like having a rocket car with mushy steering and bad brakes. As an adult it can be intensely lonely, unless you can find a very patient spouse and intelligent friends.
