I have a 3 year old niece I have the same relationship with. I hate to say but she is my favorite out of her and my 2 nephews. I love her like she’s my daughter. She lives 3 hours away and every 2 weeks I drive to the town she lives in to visit her. Every time I leave even though I should be used to it. It takes me a couple days not to be sad that I’m not with her. I wish all nieces and uncles had the relationship we have. I love her more than words can express

No kids of my own yet....BUT....i cherish my nieces and nephews like they are my own. I take being the favorite Uncle VERY seriously. No room is too small for hide and seek.... nothing could keep me from acting a fool or looking weird if itll bring a smile to their face. I went to my sister's home 2 months ago my 2-year-old niece was saying MAMA ( mama means maternal uncle in indian laguages) more than 200 times in only 2 hours . I was surprised why she was saying repeatedly! may she missed me a lot.

Aww I had this relationship with my Mam’s younger brother during the 60’s and 70’s when he served with the King’s Royal Hussar’s, usually in Germany or Ireland. He’s now passed away, but I used to count the days for his home comings so that I could sleepover at my nana’s house where he stayed ❣️
