Clutch pedal no pressure in VW T4/Eurovan. Indian. Sticking clutch

Friend of mine came over from Trondheim and his clutch failed.
The pedal drops with little pressure and must be pulled up. Tried gravity bleeding today but no help. Tomorrow I will pressure bleed with a Gunson Eezibleed.
Pumping the pedal does not help.
In the worse case the gearbox has to come off to replace the slave cylinder.

It's most likely the master and or slave cylinder for your clutch and if not that it internally but 80% of the time it's because of those two things

Had this exact problem on my GTD, if you can see some oil under the engine, then almost defo the slave cylinder. If no oil, then most likely master cylinder behind clutch pedal.

Hi there, I had same issue but in my case my clutch pedel get loose but after certain hour it restored back to normal and I tried to bleed the fluid but it doesn’t come out.

My mechanic is saying there is problem with clutch plate .

I had this issue just a week back in my VW 1.5 tsi. But the issue didn’t resurface again. Should I worry or leave it as it is?

My CC clutch pedal seems softer than usual, it does come back up, however. Occasionally smell burning clutch, yall think its maybe an adjustment needed?

The slave cylinder on my E90 caused that.

Ive just had my slave cylinder replaced as there was a leak on it but they also replaced the two control pipes, was that necessary? Thanks!
