Correctly adjusting your clutch pedal when installing a new master cylinder, slave cylinder & or clutch is a crucial step in promoting the longevity of your clutch & clutch components. Failure to correctly adjust the clutch pedal can cause the clutch to slip and can lead to premature wear.

Is there a way to adjust the throw or length of travel for the clutch pedal? I just got a 2015 Ford Focus ST and I have to sit very close to the steering wheel to get the clutch pushed in all the way. It's been a long time since I've driven a standard transmission car. I do ride a motorcycle but it's my understanding the clutches are different between motorcycles and cars.

Reet useful. I've just m57 swapped my 940 and the clutch slipped almost immediately after a break in once I got the car boosting. I wound up having to fit another clutch kit to be sure and yeah that's 100% what my issues rooted from. Not fun as its a engine out job to do but you live and learn!

Will an inproperly adjusted master cylinder linkage cause the pedal to get stiffer and stiffer until it freezes up at the top position? When I try to bleed it, it gets stiffer and stiffer, looses range of movement in the clutch pedal until it freezes. I appreciate any insite!

I noticed my push rod is extremely lose, is that a bad thing? Its a civic si 2015, my brother has a 06 tsx and the push rod is steady
